The DIRECT Method
The six steps, in order, with the feedback loop back to Review Options when a trigger fires.
DIRECT is run live, in the room, as the board makes the decision, not written up afterwards. Each step produces a record, so the final decision carries its own evidence trail: what was considered, who was accountable, and what would trigger a review.
